Does anyone else struggle with how they are perceived by others? π€π½ This leads to feelings of deep shame and anxiety over fulfilling the ideals that society has in mind for someone in your life stage/situation. The solution to breaking this shame cycle? Lots and lots of self-study (reading!), self- reflection (journaling!), work with a therapist (discussion! problem-solving!) and partaking in therapeutic practices such as yoga and meditation (feeling! sensing! embodying!)
It takes time and dedication to find peace within. We are working on it the best we can, but should probably still do more. You?
