Hey! Check out this interview with Itkin for a series of interviews on the road to LA Olympics!
Done by Melissa Forziat. Hereโs her message:
I am a keynote speaker and YouTube host. My theme for speaking and YouTube is "Take the Doughnut" - which is the same as carpe diem, and I talk all about going after opportunity. I previously worked for the US Olympic Committee, as well as the Torino and Vancouver Olympic Organizing committees.
I launched a new series on YouTube ("THE JOURNEY TO LA") to feature US Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls for the LA 2028 Olympic/Paralympic Games. The plan is to do short interviews with athletes from each sport and drop them weekly starting February 23 this year up to the LA 2028 Games. Fencing is included, and I published the first fencing interview with Nick Itkin during launch week. I wanted to share this with you and would love if you would help share this with your club.

After being unexpectedly asked to join the USA Fencing Veteran World Championship Team I slapped together an itinerary and had the experience of a lifetime!
While I was a little disappointed with my results, I was very happy with my pools and my ability to make adjustments in my DE bouts. I had great help from Alex Wood and Inga Cho that helped me see what I couldnโt see.
It was also nice to have my โenemiesโ becomemy teammates. We worked very well together!
Bahrain is an amazing place!! The people are so kind and the weather was spectacular! ๐คบ๐ ๐บ๐ธ๐
