Dear Grandma ~ we made it to Venice ✨

You always said you wanted to see this magical city before it’s lost to the water. You romanticized Venice, you made it sound like a dream. It’s been 14 years since we lost you… but your dream of Venice has stayed with me, among so many other things. I dreamed my own dream of Venice… I wanted to see it, for you. So that in some small way, the part of you that lives on in me could experience this floating city of wonder. It was absolutely breathtaking, the food, the canals, the never ending maze of corridors that make up this stunning place. You would have loved it. It was bittersweet & beautiful.
Mom & I sat down on the steps of a canal on our last night here. We held hands & murmured gratitude, memories, & a goodbye. This was my memorial to you. My deepest gratitude to you for your unconditional love & support. Our time together may have been short, but the mark you left of me is indelible. I am who I am today, because of you. So thank you, for everything… & especially for this goodbye. I love you so much & I miss you ♥

Mentally I’m here ~ 🍁🍂✨


Seriously though - the solo trip I did to Aspen this fall was so deeply nourishing! 🤌🏼✨ (*chef’s kiss)

It’s crazy to look back & see how things have changed. 5 years ago I was honestly scared to hike alone, especially without a dog. I dreamed of becoming the type of woman who could adventure, camp, & hike confidently on her own. That type of freedom has always appealed to me, but back then I didn’t know where to start; all I knew was that I was being pulled to Colorado, so I took the leap.

Life takes a lot of twists & turns, but I will always stand by… the desires of our hearts are no coincidence… & also, I think when we listen to our hearts we our pulled in the direction of those desires & ultimately we end up exactly where we’re meant to be 💛 even if the road to get there isn’t easy, I’d like to believe that it’s worth it; lessons, tears, smiles & all.


Cheers to 3 years of calling Colorado home 🏔️✨

Saying goodbye to fall as the last of the leaves begin to drop 🍁 I’m so thankful for all the wonderful moments with some of my favorite people ~ camping, concerts, ciders over a sunset, dancing, laughing, & leaf peeping ✨ I’m endlessly grateful 🧡 thank you ✨

Happy Halloween Everyone!

This dreamy island stole my heart, even in the face of disaster. It’s hard to talk about in so few words, but I came away from this experience changed.

The lessons that radiate through my life now are:
- 𝓪𝓵𝔀𝓪𝔂𝓼 seize the moment & live unapologetically
- be present even in the face of challenge
- trust your gut & listen to your intuition fiercely
- take the chance & be vulnerable
- know yourself well, including your limits ~ there are moments where your life may depend on it

It was the magic of the national parks that’s pulled me to Croatia, but it was so much more than that, that made me fall in love. 💗

It was truly surreal to wake up to these beautiful sights every day!

Photo 8 - despite my smiles in the picture, internally I was very much feeling like the guard to the right of me. Split was the most crowded and overwhelming experience of the whole trip. What’s left of Diocletian’s Palace is very cool, but yeeashh being short in a sea of people wander tight spaces. No. Thank. You!


But yesss everything else was as magical as it looks even with some rainy weather. If you had told me this time last year that I’d be floating in paradise on a paddle board… I would have giggled and ask for a Time Machine lol. 😂

I’ve wanted to see Horseshoe Bend since I was a little kid. Pretty sure it was featured on a plethora of motivational posters like “seize the day” or something like that throughout primary school! Happy to say I finally reached it! Haha the water is definitely an algae green, don’t let my photo editing fool you 😉
