in June i committed my time + money to doing only advanced pilates programming for myself. just got done rolling around, flipping, and kicking and I'm COOKED. lawd!!

the Pilates principles help me transcend my body's limits by focusing on my breath, what I can control, and pulling power from the muscles i connect to.

Notice that you already have a relationship with each of these principles. Take them with you into every practice session and see how your mind & body can translate them with application.

I'm personally a big fan of the control, concentration, and breathing principles and layer them into my teaching style. In my personal practice I like to remind myself that I'm in control of my experience. Sometimes that means toughen up and sometimes it means surrender.
