A huge thanks to the fencers, parents, coaches, and volunteers who came out for the 2025 RedStar Youth Challenge! We had a very smooth event, and we loved hosting and connecting the Chicagoland community and beyond. Over ten different clubs were represented, from as far as St. Louis!
All finals are uploaded on our YouTube channel linked below, though some are partial or without sound; this is our first time officially using our homemade replay system, and there were some kinks we had to work out.

Shuli Horowitz won her first Division 1 DE and then fenced 3x and reigning Olympic gold medalist !
It was a exciting moment for her to fence such a big role model. And congrats to the Olympic Queen Lee her Division 1 gold! 👑🥇

We have some exciting results from last weekend!
Shuli came home from Oregon with a gold in Y-14 AND renewed her C25! Many shrimp cocktails for Shuli to celebrate! 🥇🍤🍹
We got another gold! Tycho won gold at FCC in Y-14! Yay Tycho! 🥇
Last but not least, Sylvia returned from Colorado with THREE top 8 finishes from Air Force!
