ID specialty is one of Maca’s favorite to teach! She had a chance to do 10 with her student Stacey in the video. Talking fish from the moment they sat on the plane. Not only they talked sepecies and families but also about simbiosis, mimicry, nesting and spawning, camouflage and more. They even saw a baby gray angelfish cleaning a great barracuda! 🛀

Early at work! We installed the buoy at the George Morley wreck in Evanston for , kayakers, paddlers and swimmers to visit this summer. The wreck is at around 14ft deep with her bow facing almost straight south. She caught on fire in 1897 and no lives were lost. It is now home to thousands of gobies!

24 lbs of debris picked up by 11 divers yesterday around the George Morley wreck in City of Evanston with Kung Fu Divers and Loves Park Scuba. Thanks to all divers and instructors who volunteered to clean up one dive at a time!

We will add the data gathered in the event to PADI AWARE’s citizen scientist flagship program for use in possible future environmental projects in the area.

Diving with purpose was awesome! We felt great making the lake cleaner.

While exploring springs in Florida last week with DT we met Carly the Coi, a few Tilapia, Goldfish and a Florida Peninsula Cooter. The shapes of the rock were captivating and we got to feed the Bluegills.

It was a fun day!
We got to visit two springs 2.5 hrs from Melbourne.
