The physical practice of yoga has many approaches. Some are very passive, others are extremely active, while others fall somewhere in between.
But when does a yoga class turn into something else? Should yoga be a workout? What’s the difference between yoga and calisthenics? For that matter, what’s the difference between yoga and stretching? What makes yoga, yoga?
Join on Saturday, June 6th at 2:00pm for a workshop where we will begin with a short discussion on these and other related questions, then apply certain guidelines to a vigorous practice that will incorporate:
• Classical yoga
• Elements of martial arts
• Functional movements
• Breathwork
• Meditation
Come with an empty stomach and an open mind.
