Grand master Carley Gracie, son of the founder Carlos Gracie Sr., is the 11th child of the Gracie family and the first to bring Gracie Jiu-Jitsu to the United States in the 1970s. Known as the “Lion of the Gracies,” he helped establish the foundation of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu outside Brazil and continues to inspire generations of martial artists worldwide.
