What an amazing day for Chicago Wolves Judo Academy! 🐺🏆

We are incredibly proud of our kids who stepped onto the competition mat and showed just how brave, strong, and determined they are! 💪🥋 There were a lot of wins, a lot of smiles, and, most importantly, a lot of valuable lessons learned.

Every match is an opportunity to grow, build confidence, and become better — not only as judokas, but also as people. Win or lose, our kids showed courage, sportsmanship, and the true spirit of judo! ❤️

A huge THANK YOU to all the parents, families, friends, and everyone who supports our team and believes in our kids. Your support means everything to us! 🙏❤️

🐺🔴⚫ COMPETITION DAY IS ALMOST HERE! ⚫🔴🐺

Tomorrow, the Chicago Wolves Judo Academy will step onto the tatami right here in our hometown of Chicago! 🥋🔥

We are proud of our young athletes and everything they have been working toward. Every training session, every throw, every challenge, and every moment on the mat has helped them grow stronger—not only as judoka, but also as people.

Tomorrow is about more than medals. It’s about courage, discipline, respect, teamwork, and giving your best when it matters most. ❤️

To all our athletes: Believe in yourselves, trust your training, fight for every point, and enjoy every moment! We are proud of you no matter the result!

330 competitors. One incredible weekend in Portland, IN.

Our Wolves Judo Academy team brought home 2 gold medals 🥇🥇 and 2 bronze 🥉🥉, but more importantly — we gained experience, confidence, and valuable lessons on and off the mat.

So many strong performances, hard-fought matches, and moments of growth from our kids. This is what we train for — not just medals, but character, discipline, and progress.

Proud of every single athlete who stepped on the mat this weekend.

Thank you to all the parents, coaches, and supporters who make this journey possible. 🙏

🏆🔥 What a start at the Winter Games Michigan!

Our club brought home 3 medals in our very first tournament — two amazing kids and one senior stepped up and made us proud! 🥋

This is just the beginning. We train hard, we grow together, and we support each other like family. Year by year, belt by belt, we keep building champions on and off the mat.

Proud of our team. Proud of our journey.
And we’re just getting started! 💪🥇

THE IMPORTANCE OF COMPETITION IN CHILD DEVELOPMENT 🥋

Competitions are not just about winning or losing — they are life lessons.

When a child steps onto any sports field, they are not just facing an opponent, but also facing themselves.

In that moment, they may feel scared, anxious, brave, or even frustrated… it’s important to provide a safe environment, surrounded by people who support and believe in them.

Every competition is an opportunity for growth.

It teaches a child to control their emotions, to focus under pressure, to get up after a fall, and to understand… effort is not a guarantee of victory, but a path toward progress.

It’s preparation for maturity, because in life, challenges are daily, “opponents” are internal, and the greatest achievement is not giving up.

Healthy competition builds empathy, discipline, and self-awareness.
Those who compete today are building the strength needed for tomorrow’s world.

Because medals and trophies will fade one day…
But what they went through will remain etched in them forever.

Parents need to understand that these are just children, and let the competition stay among the kids — it should never happen between parents or be taken out on the children.
