Liza is a hip-hop dancer with over 10 years of experience! Originally from Belarus, she began her journey in Eastern Europe and has competed both solo and as part of a crew across the countries of Eastern Europe.
After moving to the United States five years ago, Liza continued to stay active in the international and Chicago battle community. In recent years, she has traveled to Europe and Asia, as well as across the U.S. to train, learn, and compete. She has also been invited to judge events in Chicago, taught hip-hop freestyle classes throughout the city, and recently organized her own hip-hop freestyle event in Chicago. With a strong foundation in hip-hop and house, along with an international perspective on freestyle culture, Liza brings both her unique experience to the dance floor!

Originally from South Bend, Indiana, Jalyn Willis is a Chicago-based dancer, teacher, and choreographer, driven and inspired by freestyle from an early age, shaping her appreciation for the art of dance. She began on two Indiana dance teams before expanding her training in Chicago. A three-time Monsters of Hip Hop Show nominee and finalist at the Kinship Battle presented by CLRMND. Jalyn has taught recently in New York, at Reveal Chicago: The Community Link, and currently holds a teaching slot at Rhythmhood Snipes Studio. Forever a student, she’s committed to growing through freestyle, choreography, foundations, and performance.

Zhané has danced under various professional hiphop companies in Chicago such as CODA, Puzzle League Dance Company, and Team Go. She is the founder and director of kpop dance team MINT crew. She currently trains in waacking, hiphop, krump, vogue, and popping and teaches Waacking at RhythmhoodxSNIPES Studio and is the cofounder of Waackattacksessionchi! She has recently started her MC hosting journey and is excited to be your MC for From the Ashes!

Brien Parish, also known to many as B. Parish or simply “BP”, is a Dallas born dancer, educator, community organizer currently residing in Chicago, IL.

Brien emerged in dance as member of award-winning team, The Neighborhood, later becoming its co-director and bloomed as a respected choreographer. Since moving to Chicago in 2020, Brien has deepened his commitment to his roots and artistry as a hip hop practitioner, under the mentorship of Lam Sedechu and as a member of Rhythm Kidz. He now leads his own project, godfrey., and serves as a Studio, Program & Communications manager for Rhythmhood & RhythmhoodXSNIPES Studio.

The man also known by the moniker, DJ B-GRAM P, is a budding music selector building his reputation as a DJ in both the nightlife and dance battle scenes in Chicago. With battle events like Windy City Throwdown and nightlife events like Open World (Hosted by HIMA-JI) under his belt, you can be sure when he’s on the decks, you’re in for a sonically riveting experience!

Additionally, he placed 1st & 2nd respectively in the 2025 & 2024 From The Ashes battles!
