Picked up a literal handful of cigarette butts at our outdoor training location today after class. Don't worry, I sanitized my hands afterwards.

No hands and no use of arms (not even elbows or armpits...no neck or head also steps it up a bit!), start on the bar at bottom right, go around the vertical bar, get through the "window" above the bar on the bottom left. Weird to explain, just watch! This was a fun one to figure out and to share with the adult class this afternoon.

Underbar to 180 duck-unders. Come join us on the bars for our Sunday classes at Chicago Waldorf School. First class is free, more info on ParkourWays.com

Was drilling this underbar to precision duck-through yesterday and this morning.

Another clip from the same night. This strange little maneuver to the wall using the handle of the electrical box to keep myself on the little ledge (which you cant really see) and away from the cone.

It looks simple here, but this jump took several minutes to work up to and had a tricky run up between obstacles.

Here's a lighter balance challenge with less risk. This is more accessible to those who are still trying to build confidence and control. All you need is something to step over, and something to balance on on each side of that object. It could be a yoga block and two boards, a railing running under something, maybe some curbs, some tree branches or logs, two small children and one larger, anything! 😜

Rules (pretty much all optional!)

1. Feet avoid the ground.
2. Avoid using your hands on anything.
3. Avoid touching the object you're stepping over with any part of your body.

In the video, I stepped over by bending the legs first (in each direction), then I stepped over bending one leg and keeping the other straight, and finally stepped over with each leg straight. You could also try positioning your body so that your feet are parallel to the balance objects, stepping over forward and backward.

Have fun, be safe. 😊

These are a good challenge 👀

My only rules were:

1. Not to cheat the width of my feet on the way out.

2. In order to count a rep my feet had to come together again on the bar before they went to the ground.

3. I had to keep the constant rhythm (if I stop and go to regain balance, I can do many more reps much more easily).

Give it a tryyyyyyyyyy friendos

A weird thing from last weekend

03/08/2019

Here's one I couldn't do! Just came up with it, so this is the first time I'm trying it. I'm trying to get into that position and then be able to hold it with both hands holding the front foot.

Here's another balance challenge for you. Squat on the rail, grab with hands between the feet, then try to get your elbows down to the bar and hold it for a bit. Good luck, don't smash your faces. 🙃

I'm sure you have seen something like this before, because I stole the idea from another ig user myself (I dont recall who, so I can't give credit). But I changed it a little. Here were my rules for myself:

- No hands to help balance
- Only feet touch the bar
- Each shoe must be removed by reaching under the bar
- Both shoes must be off before I can put one back on
- The shoes themselves, once removed, each need to pass under the bar from hand to hand before it can be put back on
- The foot must cross over the top of the bar to put the shoe back onto it

It maybe looked simpler than it was, with all these rules! Have you tried something like this? What are/were your rules? If you haven't tried it... try it! 💪
