Truth hurts at times, but we are here to tell you what you want to hear. In general, most people under consume the amount of protein they need to build muscle tissue, enhance recovery, and lose fat.

We recommend consuming 0.8-1g of protein per pound of bodyweight per day.

You may be asking, why?

Here’s a few solid reasons:

1️⃣ Build Muscle: Protein is the building block of muscle tissue. When you work out, especially during strength training, your muscles experience tiny tears. Consuming enough protein helps repair these tears, leading to muscle growth and increased strength. By aiming for 0.8g-1g of protein per pound of bodyweight, you’re giving your body the necessary fuel to build and maintain muscle mass effectively.

2️⃣ Boost Recovery: After a tough workout, your muscles need to recover. Protein plays a crucial role in this process by repairing muscle fibers and reducing muscle soreness. Proper recovery is essential for making progress and avoiding injuries.
