Dear DePaul Men’s Soccer Alumni,

It was our first shutout of the season and the result also continues our three game unbeaten streak. During this three game stretch we have scored five goals and given up three.

We host Bradley University on this Wednesday September 20th – 3:00 pm at Wish Field. We are currently 2-1 at Wish and post an overall record of 3-3-1.

Blue Demons Draw with Providence in BIG EAST Opener The DePaul men’s soccer team’s BIG EAST opener against Providence ended in a scoreless draw on Saturday evening as the Blue Demons outshot the Friars 14-9 in 110 minutes of play.

Dear DePaul Men’s Soccer Alumni,

The guy’s responded and put together a solid performance against Drake for the 3-1 win at Wish Field.

We were up 2-0 at half-time with goals by freshmen Timmy Iscra and assisted by freshmen Istvan Wilhelms. Istvan scored an impressive second goal and assisted by Sophomore Sasa Labovic.

We went up 3-0 with a goal for Senior Philipp Konigstein.

Congratulations to Sasa Labovic for being named BIG EAST Defender of the Week for his two assists. -

Dear DePaul Men's Soccer Alumni,

In Week 2, we were able to pick up our first win of the season over LaSalle 2-1 in the first game of our Chicago Classic Tournament. We had goals by Senior Forward Stijn van der Slot and by Freshmen Forward Timmy Iscra. Freshmen Midfielder Istvan Wilhelms was credited with one assist on the game winning goal. Senior Goalkeeper Quentin Low played all 90 minutes to record his first win of the season.

In the Tournament's second game against Valparaiso we lost 2-1 despite maintaining 71% possession and other statistical advantages. Senior Philipp Konigstein (2 goals, 2 assists) continues his outstanding play. His free kick from 35 yards was redirected by the Valparaiso goalkeeper and Freshmen Istvan Wilhelms (2 goals & 2 assists) was able to score.

Freshmen Istvan Wilhelms (Sault Ste, Marie, MI) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Dear DePaul Men’s Soccer Alumni,

We hope you can join us for Week #2 with games #3 & #4 at Wish Field as part of our Annual Chicago Classic Tournament hosted by us and Loyola.

We take on LaSalle Friday September 1st at 4:00 pm and the Valparaiso on Sunday September 3rd at 1:00 pm

Congratulations to Istvan Wilhelms who was named BIG EAST Freshmen of the Week for his performances against NIU and UIC where he scored one goal and one assist.

Philipp Konigstein scored two goals – one against NIU and one against UIC.

We have four remaining non-conference games prior to the BIG EAST Conference starting at # 12 Providence College on Saturday September 16th.

DePaul Men's Soccer Kicks off 2017 with Weekend Road Trip The DePaul men's soccer team will kick off the 2017 regular season on Friday as the Blue Demons travel to Dekalb, Ill., to face Northern Illinois in what is both squads' first match of the season. Following the season opener against NIU, DePaul will face crosstown rival UIC on Sunday at 7 p.m.

Dear DePaul Men’s Soccer Alumni,

We look forward to the opening weekend of the 2017 Men’s Soccer Season. We begin with two road games – one this Friday August 25th at Northern Illinois University 6:30 pm
followed by the second on Sunday August 27th at the University of Illinois – Chicago at 7:00 pm.

The guys have worked successfully together as twenty of our twenty-three rostered players. Have played in the two exhibition games. Four different players (Philipp Konigstein Sr. Germany, Harry Hilling Jr. La Grange Park, IL, Timmy Iscra Fr. Northbrook, IL and Stijn van der Slot Sr. Netherlands) have scored in the run of play and two of our three goalkeepers (Quentin Low Sr. Longrove, IL & Trevor Wilson So. Lake Oswego, OR) have played.

We won on Saturday 3-1 over Western Illinois at Wish Field and in our other exhibition game we tied Western Michigan 1-1 before eventually losing in penalty kicks 4-2.

The season begins with six non-conference games prior to the BIG EAST Conference starting at # 12 Providence College on Saturday September 16th.

Please join us for the first two games at Wish Field on Friday September 1st at 4:00 pm against LaSalle and then Sunday September 3rd at 1:00 pm against Valparaiso.
