The great Aristotle once said “Those who live in glass houses spend much money on windex.”
I’ll never forget that. Nor should you.

I’m not sure the Hokey Pokey is in fact, what it’s all about…but I could be wrong.
Listen, everyone hops on social media every Monday looking for “Monday Motivation” posts.
So here goes nothing…
You may not have always been the best person. There could have been any times you have been wrong in life. There could have been many times where you were an as***le. There could have been many times where you coulda, woulda and shoulda…but didn’t.
We get one shot at life. We will screw up from time to time. Don’t allow the mess ups to define you. You may not be able to take back things you have said or done but you can definitely change for the better. You always have room for growth.
Stay Humble. Be a good person. Apologize to those you’ve hurt. You never know the positive chain reaction that can set off.
Or don’t.
Choice is always yours.
If all else fails, here’s a picture of me flexing in 2018 at Summer Smash.

Two more weeks until I’m down in Florida looking at this sunset. Sunsets are breath taking.
My dad has been going to Florida for the winters for like the last 6 years I think. I’ve said every year I would come down and never have. I’m finally going this year.
I’m excited because outside of going down to St Louis for Summer Smash or some sort of bachelor party trip, I don’t go on vacations without Anthony.

Some dudes being dudes here. I love this picture. It has a lot of meaning behind it.
This picture is taken at the ground breaking ceremony for the new 1st Phorm HQ in 2019. It was a really big deal for me and many others.
For a lot of us it was sort of a bitter sweet moment because it would be the last Summer Smash at the old HQ. Where I had been a handful of times and made a lot of great memories at. It was also special to be part of something like this. To be there for the ground breaking.
The plan was for us to be there the following year in 2020 to see it but some dumb occurrence kept us away in 2020.
From standing there with an empty lot with some dirt to finally seeing the new HQ in 2021 it was certainly worth the wait. Not only it the attention to detail ridiculous, but as I walked through the halls and see pictures that I’m actually in up on the walls just made it even more special to me.
For those on the outside I know it might not mean as much, but to me it means everything. HQ is super fancy, auditorium, full gym, basketball courts, barbershop, cafeteria and more…and my favorite part is the Phamily photo on the wall from 2019s Summer Smash.
I love being part of this. I love what it means. I love the feeling it brings myself and others.
The people make the party. Always remember that.

One of my favorite Robin Williams movies is Patch Adams. Robin Williams in general was one of my favorite actors/comedians of all time. Not only did I love his goofy and witty style, I also like how he openly talked about mental health and his struggles. I also related very much to him hiding his feeling behind laughter.
I’ve always aspired to be the Patch Adams in the fitness industry. Do I know a lot about fitness and nutrition and etc? Yes I do. Do I love to make others laugh? Yes I do. I noticed so often that the two weren’t often mixed. People were always so serious in the gym and most of the time looked miserable.
I always thought why can’t you goof around and laugh and get in great shape? Well you can, why people don’t is beyond me.
The resting serious face in the gym is boring. I mean whatever works for you but I’d prefer to bring a happier and more smiling atmosphere to the gym.
I always try to make others laugh, it’s literally one of my favorite things to do. I’ve been called really witty and the things I come up with on the fly often lead to a lot of laughter and good times. I enjoy bringing that to the gym setting too. Show up to the gym wearing a chicken suit, crack some jokes between sets, make someone spit their water out. Why the f**k not?
It doesn’t have to be so f**king serious all the time. I’m going to be who I am inside and out. I’m almost all situations. Laughter is medicine.
Maybe if people laughed a little more they would be less stressed about everything. Especially in the gym, stress can slow your gains, so f**king laugh, be goofy.
Mean mugging just makes you look like an as***le in the gym. Ain’t no one got time for that. More laughter might lead to more comfort for people who are weary of joining gyms.
Anyway, laugh more. Okay, have a good Wednesday. Bye Pumpkin 😘.

Can we normalize being honest in the fitness industry?…I mean life too but we are talking Fitness right now.
Here’s a list:
1. Stop f**king telling people to workout a certain way for your results when you know your results came from a combo of anabolic steroids and your workout routine. Which leads to number 2.
2. Tell people you use PEDs if you do. Stop claiming natural. No one really cares anymore if you’re not natty, they do however care of you continuously lie about it.
Motivate people with the truth. Not discourage them because you motivated them with your lies and they ultimately fail because you were honest.
It’s like giving someone a 500 piece puzzle with 499 pieces in the box. Give them that piece that completes it or you just look like an as***le.
End of rant. Happy Tuesday. 😘

The picture may be old but the info still applies to the present.
I see post after post about people who are unhappy with their results. They aren’t happy with the way their gains are going. OR unfortunately sometimes they think their results are going great but I know just by looking that minor tweaks can be made to get the results your deserve…the ones you think you’re getting.
There are factors that play into the lack of results. Before I get into the most obvious one…one is that you are too stubborn to take someone else’s advice or you are too stubborn to take advice outside of your “coach” even though your coach is not giving you the best advice they can. Just because they are a “coach” doesn’t mean they either should be or are actually giving you their best.
Now, I’ve been doing this for a long time. The thing holding you back the most is that your diet and exercise regime is way too complicated. Your workouts are way to extreme and are counter productive to you getting the results you actually want. The workouts are too long, too much volume and the flow is all over the place. “Coaches” will often get you hooked because you feel “defeated” after their workouts. This is the truth, you don’t need to feel like you died for it to be a great workout.
I’m this picture, I was my lowest body fat, my diet was simple and my workouts were simple. I was doing 8x8s with 30s rest periods. 4 exercises for each muscle Group. Ab workouts for as simple as 100 each of crunches, reverse crunches and core twists.
Diet, found where my macros were SUPPOSE to be for my goal….and guess what? I hit those numbers. There was very little stress of “omg this workout is insane, this diet is extreme”.
Keep it f**king simple. Change your mindset. Do you want the actual results that you’re picturing in your head or do you want to just feel like you’re working toward them and never actually get there. All because you refuse to listen to someone else and simplify your regimen.
