there’s a promise we investigated at the Obama Foundation museum. a national promise of equality and opportunity and hope.

we found it in bits and scenes. some exhibits struck me as over indulgent marketing. some made me cry, moved by the authenticity of struggle and belief.

Barack Obama was a centrist president who also did harm. however i am deeply moved by the symbolism of his presidency, his genuine desire to help, and the depth of his connection with Michelle Obama - what an inspirational couple! now that’s teamwork!
