Good Morning, Saturday morning yoga folks! Even though the sun isn’t shining yet this morning, you ARE! Thank you for being here. ☀️🙏🏼🌸

Do you have a home meditation practice? Do you have a sacred space set up where you turn within? The special act of creating a space that feels special to you - where you can sit and seek refuge in your Heart, in the rhythm of your breath and the energy that rides upon it….well, we recommend it. 🧡
You can start simple - with a cushion or chair and a few items that help you center or remind you of the Divine.
We also welcome you to join us on Sunday mornings from 10:15 to 11:00 am for Community Meditation (online or in person). Tune in from your meditation space at home or join in community at Chi-Town Shakti. Our Certified ShambhavAnanda Yoga®️ Meditation Instructors will guide you through a variety of practices from week to week and are happy to answer your questions.
Connection to community, to those who are on the path with you, can also be a tremendous support in maintaining consistent practice.

Join us for a Spring Sound Magic Immersion - a vibratory purification for the Soul.

Allow yourself to decompress and experience a unique inward journey for your body, mind and spirit. Physical sound vibrations entrain the brain to move from beta to alpha-theta waves, bringing about a deep, meditative state. Jitka and John will weave a tapestry of magical sounds using gongs, crystal bowls, singing bowls, chimes and other instruments.

“The Great Night of Shiva” begins today and continues throughout the night - February 15th through 16th (in 2026). It is said to be the night when Shiva performed the great dance of creation and dissolution. For there to be birth, there must be death - a surrendering of what was to honor what will be - with each and every breath and in each given moment. We also celebrate the divine union of Shiva and Parvati on this day - uniting the creative force of Shakti with Consciousness.

Some practitioners choose to fast in honor of this transformative time. Others chant mantras all throughout the night. The benefits of chanting Shiva mantras will expand exponentially on this auspicious holiday. OM Namah Shivaya. Jai Shiva Om!
