That ‘oooooh’ feeling when shaping rails with sharp tools.

Building out the rails, then shaping them by hand. One step closer to seeing this mask come to life. The dark sections of the eye, which will disappear once the board is glassed, are caused by epoxy being used to apply the pearl metal flake.

Sometimes it’s not about the details, sometimes it is.

Time to throw a layer of 6oz fiberglass cloth on the Lake Geneva board. Thanks to for being a great supplier to account for my adjusted work window. Maybe we’ll live stream the bottom glassing - when the epoxy hits the hand-dyed blues of wood veneer... maybe around 5p...
