from the desk of the CEO: Words can’t express how I’m feeling right now. Yeah the tears are rolling like a river ❤️

In 2012, Matthew and I combined our teams (dance force & Chicago Elite Allstars) and created what would become Dance Force Elite. Since then, I have sacrificed so much to make sure our baby continued to grow, thrive, and have a future.

Two years ago, I quit my job just to make sure I could dedicate myself fully to taking care of our family and our dancers. Every year, the Bud Billiken Parade is dedicated to Matty, and this year felt even more meaningful.

Words truly can’t express how much I love my Dance Force Elite Family. Thank you all for having my back—every manager, coach, parent, dancer, and supporter. These last two years have been hard, and honestly, the two weeks leading up to the parade were even harder.

But today, I am HAPPY. ❤️😭 Tears of joy are flowing uncontrollably because seeing what we accomplished makes every sacrifice worth it.

Now, to my kids…

Y’all see why I’m hard on y’all. I push you because I know what you are capable of. I will always push you to be GREAT, to believe in yourselves, and to become the best versions of yourselves. I am more than proud of every single one of you.
