Future caddies in the making at Columbus Park Golf Course ⛳️

Caddy training is officially underway thanks to the support of our friends at the Illinois PGA Section alongside the incredible students from Maryville Academy. From learning course etiquette and player support to gaining hands-on golf experience, these young participants are building confidence, communication skills, and a connection to the game one step at a time. 👏

Excited to see this program continue to grow and create new opportunities both on and off the course.

Season is officially underway in Chicago ⛳️ All Chicago Park District golf courses are open for the 2026 season — with the exception of Jackson Park Golf Course, which is currently undergoing exciting course renovations.

Bunker and tee renovations are officially happening, with improvements designed to enhance playability, drainage, and overall course experience — all while honoring Jackson Park’s historic character.

As work continues, golfers can look forward to a 9-hole loop opening during construction, with the full 18-hole transformation still to come. And don’t worry — the driving range remains open while improvements are underway.
