From the dressing room to the stands, how we treat each other matters 💗
This whole month, in honour of Pink Shirt Day on Feb 25, we’re standing behind bullying prevention and the power of being a supportive teammate.
Let us know how you're sticking up for your teammate & don't forget to tag us in your video!
Together, we can create a more inclusive hockey community.
Anyone else use this analogy? 😂🐶

Meet Coach Annie Slick - My assistant coach for my Holiday Skating Skills Camp😊 Annie began as one of my figure skating students and later found her passion in hockey. Watching her grow on and off the ice has been incredibly special, and the memories we’ve made together mean the world to me. Scroll below to learn more about Annie’s journey.
“Hi! My name is Annie, and I’m excited to help with this camp. I started skating when I was five years old, right around the same time my brother started hockey. I began figure skating and stayed with it for about seven years. Skating became something I loved, and after spending so much time watching my brother play hockey, I realized I wanted to give the sport a try myself.
I’ve now been playing hockey five seasons. I’ve skated spring with Arctic, played a season with the Chicago Hawks, and have spent the last three seasons with the Sabres. Along the way, I also got involved with the Learn to Skate programs, which helped me build strong fundamentals and understand the importance of good technique.
I was lucky to work with Coach Annie, for many years as a figure skater. She helped shape me into the skater I am today and taught me how important it is to focus on the small details that make a big difference on the ice.
I’m super excited to help these kids learn, grow, and build confidence as skaters and hockey players. My goal is to help them master the little things, develop strong habits, and become the best hockey players they can be as they continue in the sport. I can’t wait to be part of their journey!“
