"I get to..." Is a simple shift of words that can change how you view a new movement routine. Reframing how you see exercise can change your relationship to it and in return you may find yourself more likely to build a long lasting routine.
"I do it anyways" is how I have managed to not let my emotions/feels stop me from showing up in my own life both in and out of the gym. Being scared to do something for one reason or another is a very human response, and whether you know it or not you are building your confidence in those moments. The more you push past your comfort zone the wider your comfort zone will become.
If you are someone new to the gym, having to do things nervous or scared is gonna be something you have to get very comfortable doing. Becoming a person who can "do it anyway" will take practice. This shift doesn't happen over night, it happens one choice after the next of doing what you have set your mind to do and sticking with it.
