ANNOUNCEMENT:

In the interim, I will be again stepping into the role as Head of Chelsea Chicago, and am pleased to announce that Mat Rampson will be my #2 and taking over full leadership after an interim period. I will then stay on in an advisory capacity.

Mat has consistently demonstrated skills and passion that will translate to leadership, and continued engagement within out Graystone and wider community, as well as charitable efforts. He is always incredibly friendly and eager to help.

Kim, Nihaal, Prince, Scott and Teddy will continue in key support roles, and they will continue to do a fine job.

I want to go on record and thank Carlos Del Pozo for his amazing leadership this past two years while I have been away. Even beyond that, he has been one of the most influential people in this group for over a decade, and a valued and trusted right hand man to me. But most importantly, I am grateful for his friendship and selfless efforts to put the community above all, something that always has to happen for us to continue to grow and succeed.

I look forward to seeing you all for the start of the season as we celebrate our 10th anniversary season Graystone Tavern

To my Chelsea Chicago Family, Friends, and everyone who has shared this journey with me,

Since March 15, 2015, these past 11+ years in Chicago have been nothing short of extraordinary. 💙

With just 20 days until we move on August 18, the time has come to say goodbye to the city we’ve called home. My family and I are taking on an exciting new chapter in Overland Park (KC) starting this September!

Looking back, it’s hard to put into words what this community means to me. When I first pitched a proposal to Sam at Graystone Tavern all those years ago, I never imagined what would become. We didn’t just build a supporters club—we built a family. 🦁

From nerve-wracking early morning kickoffs and lifting trophies, to launching Stamford Lager with Pipeworks Brewing Co. and hosting Gary Cahill at Joe’s, every moment was built on your passion and energy.

Let’s kick off the 26/27 season together one last time! ⚽️

I’ll be at The Graystone Tavern for our home opener vs. Brighton (8:00 AM kickoff). If you’re there cheering on the Boys in Blue, come grab a pint or two with me before the move! Can’t wait to see everyone, and I look forward to traveling to London with some of you in the future.

As I step down, Brian Wolff will be taking over leadership, so please give him all the love and support you’ve shown me over the years!

Chicago will always hold a massive piece of my heart. My blood remains completely Blue—if you’re ever in Overland Park, reach out! You’ve always got a place to watch the match.

No shortcuts, no alternative routes—this is the only official way to access match tickets. Just follow Steps 1 and 2 below, register, and you are set!
