Paddle Imua Paddle Imua is an annual paddle race supporting Camp Imua, a recreational camp for children in Maui County with special needs. We bring the ocean sports community together to embrace our connection to the sea + celebrate the lives of our local children.

That feeling you get when your training is on point, there’s a break in the smoke, and the skies are blue.

Dirty air, dirty water, but clean training session!

Serious training feels right here. When you’ve implemented training protocols and see and feel the difference almost immediately. Never have I paddled smoother and with more efficiency. And to think that after five years of obsessive paddling, I’m still only just tapping in is a beautiful thing. I love this SUP life.

Another Tahoe “The Crossing” race down in the books. This year it was 23 miles on the dot. It was a brutal 23 miles chalked full of lessons that only endurance events can provide. Some lessons were physiological, some were mental and emotional. Needless to say, I came out of it a better man for it. Huge thank you to Jay and Anik and Waterman’s Landing for putting on amazing awesome event. Congrats to all that competed. It was awesome to see some old fiends and meet some new ones. Cheers everyone.
