Hello SKA Nor Cal Members,
The Auburn Foothill Dojo regrets to share, with such little notice, that our Oct. 11th and Oct. 12th KaarateFest has been rescheduled for Oct. 17th and Oct. 18th. Kei Teramoto has graciously agreed to lead practice for this 2nd annual event and we have reserved the same gym and picnic area as last year. The Oct. 17th practice is for all levels starting at 12 pm with a BBQ at 3:30 pm. The Oct 18th senior practice starts at 10 am with a continental breakfast with Kei at 8 am.
For planning and logistical purposes, we need to get a committed head count of those who will be able to attend on Saturday Oct. 17 and/or Sunday Oct. 18th. Please RSVP to this email by Friday Sept. 25 if you can attend KarateFest 2015 on Saturday Oct. 17 and/or Sunday Oct. 18. Feel free to RVSP as a Dojo, listing your Dojo name and number of members who will attend on Sat. and/or Sun.
We appreciate your enthusiastic spirit and attendance last year and we hope this late schedule change does not impact the success of this years event.
Respectfully,
Doug Marquand
Dojo Manager

We had a great kids class tonight. Joe, Charlie, and Luke trained hard tonight.
Congratulations to Ryan Drinks for making Shodan this Summer Special Training!
Great Special Training this last week! Everyone who made Special Training not only increased their mental strength, but walked away with a thing or two to work on and grow. We planted the roots deeply. Now it is time to water and fertilize those roots with practice in our Dojo. Practice Begins Tuesday!
Summer Special Training is on. No practice this week. We will resume our normal training schedule next Tuesday.
Time to start preparing ourselves for Special Training. So far we have Ben, Ryan, and Patrick going. Ben is testing for his Yondan and Ryan his Shodan. Let the kumite begin.
