Maybe they have always wanted to dance but never had the chance. Maybe they watched their friends dance and thought, "I wish I could do that!" Maybe they tried another activity and are ready to discover something new.

You don't have to start at age 3 to discover a love or talent for ballet.

Our Absolute Beginner Ballet class is designed specifically for ages 7–14 who are brand new to dance—or who want to start over with the basics. No experience. No fancy skills. No worrying about keeping up, no long-term commitment.

✨ Everyone in this class is starting at the beginning. ✨

Ballet is about so much more than learning to dance. As children grow, dance can help build confidence, coordination, strength, focus, and friendships—all while giving them a creative way to move and express themselves. Research and dance educators also point to benefits for balance, body awareness, memory, and self-esteem.

And here's the best part: you don't have to be "good" at ballet to start ballet. You just have to be willing to try. 💜

Pre-Pointe and Pointe Shoe letters have gone out, and we couldn’t be more proud of these hardworking kiddos! They have put in the time, dedication, and effort, and their excitement for what lies ahead in their ballet journey is absolutely contagious. 🩰💜

We are so excited to watch them continue to grow and see where their ballet future at Kinetics takes them. Congratulations, dancers—you’ve earned it! ✨

"It looks like fun playtime, are they really learning ballet?” 🩰💜

We hear it sometimes. Our youngest dancers are having so much fun that it can be easy to miss all the important learning happening along the way!

In Baby Ballet 1 (ages 2-3.5) and Baby Ballet 2 (ages 3.5–5), we believe young children learn best when they are engaged, moving, imagining, and—yes—having FUN!

Behind the games, songs, props, and smiles, our dancers are building the foundation of dance: body awareness, musicality, coordination, balance, listening skills, movement vocabulary, classroom discipline, and the beginning principles of proper ballet technique.

We teach ballet in a way that is age- and developmentally appropriate. There will be plenty of time for structured barre work, technical corrections, and more serious training as your dancer grows. Right now, we're building something just as important: a love for dance. ✨

And when it's time for that next level of training? We know how to help dancers get there. Just take a look at our beautiful Kinetics dancers dancing en pointe! 🩰

At Kinetics, we don't rush the journey. We build strong foundations, happy dancers, and the skills they need to grow into confident, capable artists.

Does your child love ballet and dream of dancing en pointe? At Kinetics Academy of Dance, we are committed to helping each dancer build the strength, technique, and consistency needed to reach that exciting milestone safely. 🩰✨

Our Ballet 2 dancers benefit from something special: four professional ballet instructors working together to help each dancer succeed. With multiple professional instructors and class opportunities each week, your dancer gets more guidance, more training, and more opportunities to grow.

For dancers in grades 2–6, our Ballet 2 program offers four classes each week—and we recommend attending at least two times per week for the best progress.
