"Exciting news! Today I had the pleasure of taking a class from another teacher. It's always such a joy to receive in this way! As part of my path to balance after experiencing burnout, I've had to relearn my practice three times now. But each time, life, health, or circumstances require starting over, I'm given a chance at a beautiful new approach. I learn more about myself, teaching, and having a beginner's mindset. Starting over is an opportunity to learn more about balance. So, embrace those times when you shift in and out of balance as the rich opportunities that they are! Stay tuned for more about my journey and how I'm rebuilding my practice. "

Enjoy your tea!
"If while washing dishes, we think only of the cup of tea that awaits us, thus hurrying to get the dishes out of the way as if they were a nuisance, then we are not 'washing the dishes to wash the dishes.'
What's more, we are not alive during the time we are washing the dishes. In fact we are completely incapable of realising the miracle of life while standing at the sink. If we can't wash the dishes, the chances are we won't be able to drink our tea either. While drinking the cup of tea, we will only be thinking of other things, barely aware of the cup in our hands. Thus we are sucked away into the future and we are incapable of actually living one minute of life."

Socrates, Don Miguel Ruiz (The Four Agreements). In yoga, the term Satya (Sanskrit: सत्य; IAST: satya) is a Sanskrit word loosely translated as truth, essence.[3][4] It also refers to a virtue in Indian religions, referring to being truthful in one's thought, speech and action.[5] In Yoga, satya is one of five yamas, the virtuous restraint from falsehood and distortion of reality in one's expressions and actions.[6]
Truth worth reading
In Ancient Greece, Socrates had a great reputation of wisdom. One day, someone came to find the great philosopher and said to him:
- Do you know what I just heard about your friend?
- A moment, replied Socrates. Before you tell me, I would like to test you the three sieves.
- The three sieves?
- Yes, continued Socrates. Before telling anything about the others, it's good to take the time to filter what you mean. I call it the test of the three sieves. The first sieve is the TRUTH. Have you checked if what you're going to tell me is true?
- No, I just heard it.
- Very good! So, you don't know if it's true. We continue with the second sieve, that of KINDNESS. What you want to tell me about my friend, is it good?
- Oh, no! On the contrary.
- So, questioned Socrates, you want to tell me bad things about him and you're not even sure they're true? Maybe you can still pass the test of the third sieve, that of UTILITY. Is it useful that I know what you're going to tell me about this friend?
- No, really.
- So, concluded Socrates, what you were going to tell me is neither true, nor good, nor useful. Why, then, did you want to tell me this?

Some of the strongest people I know have cultivated the art of soft. A paradox and true... In yoga, the terms abhyasa and Vairagya line up with doing and allowing to bring ease into our life’s. Past force and control, there is ease and allowing.
Be strong 🌸
