What a night for Ross County Special Olympics Flag Football! Our Trailblazers came ready to play and grabbed a 56–12 victory over Westerville White! ❤️🖤🤍

🥏❤️ A BIG THANK YOU to our Disc Golf Coaches & Volunteers!

We are so grateful for Coach Tonya and our volunteers who give their time, patience, and encouragement to make our Ross County Special Olympics Disc Golf program possible!

Disc Golf is a sport where athletes of all abilities can participate, learn, compete, and have fun. Our athletes have truly enjoyed developing new skills, spending time outdoors, and learning a sport that continues to grow right here in our community.

While Disc Golf is not currently a sanctioned Special Olympics Ohio sport, we are fortunate to live in an area with an active disc golf community and several local courses.

Most importantly, programs like this would not happen without the people who show up for our athletes. Thank you to every coach and volunteer who teaches, encourages, retrieves discs, celebrates great throws, and makes sure every athlete feels included and successful.

Thank you for helping us create more opportunities for ALL abilities! 🥏👏❤️

🏈 What. A. Game! 🏈

Our Ross County Trailblazers battled the Highland County Special Olympics team last night in an incredibly competitive flag football game!

The game went into overtime and came down to the very last possible play, with Highland County pulling out the win. While the scoreboard didn’t fall our way, we could not be more proud of our Trailblazers! 💙❤️

Our athletes played hard, stayed competitive, supported one another, and fought until the very end. Games like this are what sports are all about — teamwork, determination, sportsmanship, and giving it everything you’ve got!

Great job, Trailblazers, and thank you to Highland County Special Olympics for an exciting night of football! 🏈👏

📣❤️🖤 WELCOME TO THE TEAM, COACH HARLEY! 🖤❤️📣

Ross County Special Olympics is excited to officially welcome Harley Clyne as our new Cheerleading Coach! 🎉

Harley brings experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities through her work as an Independent Provider, helping people reach their personal goals, build confidence, increase independence, and become more involved in their community.

She is passionate about making sure every athlete feels included, supported, encouraged, and proud of what they accomplish — while, of course, having plenty of FUN along the way! ❤️

Harley describes herself as dependable, patient, and encouraging, and we know those qualities will be a wonderful addition to our Trailblazer family.

🏀 COACHES WANTED! JOIN OUR SPECIAL OLYMPICS BASKETBALL FAMILY! 🏀

Special Olympics Ross County is looking for basketball coaches to join us for the upcoming season! ❤️🏀

We’re looking for individuals who are positive, encouraging, dependable, and ready to help our athletes learn new skills, build confidence, work as a team, and HAVE FUN!

💰 Coaching Stipend: $25 per practice/event
🏀 Typical Schedule: 2 practices per week
🏆 Coaches also attend scheduled games and tournaments
📍 Home Court: Ohio University Chillicothe

Basketball experience is definitely a plus, but some of the most important qualities we’re looking for are patience, enthusiasm, compassion, and a willingness to meet each athlete where they are.

Our Special Olympics program is about so much more than wins and losses. It’s about giving every athlete the opportunity to compete, grow, belong, and be celebrated. ❤️
