Reminder for parents:
Progress isn’t always instant.
Good mechanics take time to build.
Stay patient. Stay positive.
Your player is learning every swing. ⚾

Consistency creates great hitters
9.
“Stay inside the ball” — what does that even mean?
It means:
✔ Hands stay close to the body
✔ Barrel works through the ball
✔ No looping
This = more consistent contact.
Confidence at the plate doesn’t come from games…
It comes from reps.
The more quality swings a player gets,
the more confident they become.
Reps build belief. 💯
⚾ 30-Minute Practice Idea:
• 10 min: Tee (balance + line drives)
• 10 min: Top hand / bottom hand drills
• 10 min: Controlled swings into net
Simple. Effective. Repeatable.
If your player’s front shoulder is flying open…
They’re losing power AND contact.
Fix it by teaching:
👉 Stay closed
👉 See the ball deep
👉 Drive through the middle
Game changer.
Big swings don’t hit home runs…
✔ Good timing
✔ Solid contact
✔ Proper bat path
That’s what creates power 💥
Let’s train smarter, not just harder.
🔥 Drill of the Day: Step-Back Drill
This teaches:
✔ Weight transfer
✔ Balance
✔ Controlled aggression
If your player is falling forward, this is a MUST.
