Well I’m happy with how this weekend went. Didn’t place good but have improved from the start of the year. Have not judged yardage in about 3 years. So happy with how it is coming along. Hopefully will be able to make the 2nd leg in Franklin PA.

I finished my scoring rounds for the first leg of the IBO triple crown in pipestem West Virginia. Had a great time. Shot with some great guys. Completed my goal of shooting better than the last one. Didn’t shoot great but getting better at this unknown game. Can’t wait until next month for the 2nd leg in Franklin Pennsylvania.

Had a good day yesterday. Shot the defense range. Then shot 20 targets for score. 20 more today. Going to have fun and see if I can guess the right number.

Had a gobbler on roost this morning. He flew down worked a flat out front of us. Had 2 hens fly in and land in the tree tops above us. Gobbler hung up about 100 yards out on that flat. Then said hens tried to land in our laps. The hens took off gobbler no where to be found. Great day in the woods.

Have not been posting much. Been a good archery season so far. Bob and Chris have been to Bristol Virginia, mount airy North Carolina for the IBO. Been throughout Ohio for the Ohio ASA series and Ohio 3D group. Yesterday we were at Mosquito for the Ohio 3D group. On our way home today we are stopping at Lone Eagle Bowmen outside Canton to shoot the Ohio ASA. We will be headed to Pipestem West Virginia in a couple weeks for the IBO first leg of the triple crown.

Still plenty of calls in stock at the shop. Stop in grab a call and new sound for those stubborn gobblers. Also plenty of clothing, decoys and maybe even a Hardcore Cycle to make it easier to get tot them or cover more ground!

Alex and I heard them this morning. Made a move and they got quiet. Now trying to find one that wants to play.
