The summer has flown by, and this weekend our Legends 8U team takes the field one final time as they head to the Bombs in the Boro tournament in Hillsboro.

What started as a group of talented young ballplayers has grown into a team that competes hard, plays for one another, and proudly represents the Legends name every time they step on the field. This weekend is one more opportunity to make memories, have fun, and leave it all out there.

Let’s pack the sidelines, bring the energy, and cheer these boys on as they finish the summer the Legends way. 🩵⚾🏆

Congratulations to Legends 9u player, Grayson Spriggs on earning his spot in the Home Run Club!

There are weekends where baseball teaches you how to win.

Then there are weekends where baseball teaches you something even more important.

Our 8U Legends faced some unexpected adversity this weekend. The kind of challenges that 7 and 8 year old kids shouldn’t have to worry about. But instead of hanging their heads or making excuses, they simply kept playing.

They played new positions. They picked each other up. They competed with great attitudes. They found a way.

This group battled through pool play undefeated and earned their way into the Gold Bracket semifinals before falling to a great group of local kids we’ve enjoyed competing alongside.

Of course we would’ve loved to keep playing today, but one tournament doesn’t define this team.

What defines them is the way they’ve grown all summer.

The friendships they’ve built.
The confidence they’ve gained.
The skills they’ve developed.
The memories they’ll carry long after the final score is forgotten.

We’re incredibly proud of every one of these boys. Thank you to our players, parents, families, and everyone who has supported this team all summer long.

This weekend didn’t end the way we hoped, but it reminded us what Legends Baseball is really about.

Building players.
Building teammates.
Building memories.

Where did July go?

Legends Baseball always comes and goes way too fast.

The weeks leading up to our first tournament feel like waiting for Christmas morning. Then, before you know it, the final out is recorded, the last bat is put away, and you can almost hear hearts breaking—not just on the diamond, but behind the fence where teammates, parents, and families have become one.

This weekend, our 9U Legends battled their way to the 10U Gold Championship at the Test at the Nest. We came up short against an impressive First Capital team, but if we had to be on the wrong side of one, we’re glad it was against some familiar faces. Congratulations to them on a great tournament.

To our boys—thank you.

Thank you for the effort. The grit. The laughs. The dugout dances. The walk-up songs. The big plays. The little moments. Every memory that made this summer unforgettable.

For now, the 9U Legends will hang up the cleats for a little while. It’s time to rest some arms, reset, and go be great in all the other things these boys do outside of baseball.

But don’t worry…

The countdown has already begun until the band is back together.

Two teams. Two #2 seeds.

The Legends came to Circleville ready to compete, and both squads took care of business in pool play.

⚾ 8U Legends finish pool play 2-0, earning the #2 seed in Sunday’s Gold Bracket.

⚾ 9U Legends also finish 2-0, locking up the #2 seed in the 10U Gold Bracket at Test at the Nest.

The work isn’t finished. Tomorrow is win-or-go-home baseball, and our boys are ready for the challenge.

We love competing for championships and celebrating the hard work these boys put in.

But the moments in between matter just as much.

The teammates picking each other up after a tough at-bat. The parents cheering for every kid, not just their own. The siblings making memories around the ballpark. The brotherhood growing stronger after every practice, every game, and every weekend on the road.
