Well we unloaded the car and we had our best qualifying run yet. The car felt great and we ended up qualifying 7th.

Heat Race #1 we started on the pole, got passed right before the line on the first lap. Going into 1 I was holding my line and coming out of 2 I had a car drive straight through me. With a broken front axle, tie rod, several radius rods, wheel, tire, and damaged our front wing our heat race was over.

We got back to the pits and immediately started wrenching to get the car back out but didn't have much time to do anything setup wise. Feature time we started 11th and the car was just a handful but we at least got back out there and ended up 9th for the night.

It's really frustrating to get junked out when we had a good car and I had some decent speed. But we will be back at it and it won't get us down. Thank you so much to all our friends and sponsors. Video coming later this week.

From last-place heartbreak to Hard Charger of the night at Florence Speedway! 🏁💥
What a wild roller coaster of a night.

​Here’s how the night unfolded:

​⏱️ Qualifying: Qualified 17th out of 24 cars, giving us our starting spot of 6th for the heat.

​🏁 Heat Race: The car felt solid right out of the gate. We were rolling, holding down 6th place, and starting to get comfortable. Then, on the very last lap, heartbreak struck—a heim joint broke on the left rear torsion arm. That ended our heat prematurely and put us starting at the back for the main event.

​🏆 Feature: Starting way back in 23rd, we had a lot of work to do. But as soon as the green flag dropped, the car was absolutely ripping around the bottom. We found a line that worked, stayed patient, and passed 10 cars to cross the line in 13th—earning HARD CHARGER honors for the night!

​Coming from the tail after a mechanical issue and driving through the field makes all the thrashing in the pits worth it.
