It’s hard to put the words together knowing our season ended yesterday. Although it wasn’t the outcome we expected, it was one heck of a season finishing 24-5. I enjoyed every moment with this group, and it’s hard to believe I won’t suit up with this team anymore.
To our seniors - I’ve seen many of you grow from young teenagers into young adults, as the majority of you were 4-year varsity guys. You were my first freshman class as a head coach, and I couldn’t have asked for a better group. Thank you for everything over these last four years. It has been the most enjoyable part of my coaching career watching you become great young men. Thank you for everything you did for our program, the sacrifice, the culture you helped instill, and most of all, becoming a family.
I can’t wait to have you guys back during your breaks to share memories and continue being part of this program. Just know you will always have a place at Ayala to call home.
To our underclassmen…hold on to this feeling and use it as fuel for next year. The seniors laid the foundation, and now it’s on you guys to continue building on what they leave behind. Although this feeling isn’t fun, I’m excited for the future of the program and eager to get back to work with you guys.
Thank you Bulldog Baseball family for an unforgettable season. ❤️

Our Incoming Freshmen and Returner Camps are now available!
All athletes MUST be fully cleared through our athletic trainer before participating in camp (physical + home campus clearance required).
To register for camp, visit www.ayalasports.com - click on “Camps,” and open the brochure. There will be a registration link on the second page. Please make sure you select the correct baseball registration for either Incoming Freshmen/New Players or Returners.
Players must be officially enrolled at Ayala High School to attend camp.
The focus of our summer program will be:
• Preparing athletes for the upcoming school year
• Establishing expectations for the 2026–2027 season
• Building strength, speed, and athletic development in the weight room
• Continuing baseball skill development and team preparation
This is NOT a tryout. While the camp may help our staff get to know incoming players and help prepare athletes for future tryouts, roster decisions will not be based on camp participation.
We understand many families have summer plans, vacations, and travel baseball commitments. That is completely okay. We intentionally designed the program as a 5-week camp to provide flexibility while still allowing players to get quality work in throughout the summer.

Congratulations to our three seniors for signing today to continue their academic and baseball careers.
Caleb Trugman – UC Santa Barbara
Jaden Valenzuela – UC Irvine
Elijah Duarte – Cal Baptist University
You guys have set the standard high as my first freshman class as a head coach. To see you grow not only into great baseball players, but into great young men has been the most rewarding part of being your coach.
Thank you for everything you’ve done and continue to do for the Ayala program. It’s been an honor to be a small part of your journey, and I’m ready for one last go at this with you guys!
