☀️⚾️ IMPORTANT CHLL HEAT ADVISORY UPDATE ⚾️☀️

After careful consideration, ALL Chino Hills Little League games scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday, October 3rd, have been CANCELED for ALL divisions due to the expected high temperatures.

While we know our players look forward to getting out on the field each weekend, the safety and well-being of our players, coaching staff, families, and supporters must come first. ❤️💙

🌡️ In addition to the forecasted air temperatures, temperatures on and around the playing fields—particularly artificial turf and other sun-exposed surfaces—can be significantly hotter than the reported air temperature, potentially 15°F or more higher depending on conditions. With players spending extended periods outdoors and in direct sunlight, we feel canceling tomorrow’s games is the appropriate precaution.

We understand that cancellations can be disappointing, and this decision was made only after careful consideration of the conditions expected throughout the day.

Thank you to all of our players, coaches, volunteers, parents, families, and supporters for your patience, understanding, and continued support of CHLL.

Please stay cool, stay hydrated, and enjoy your weekend safely! ☀️💧❤️💙⚾️

☀️⚾️ EXTREME HEAT REMINDER, CHLL FAMILIES! ⚾️☀️

With extremely hot weather expected today and tomorrow, we want to remind all of our coaches, players, and baseball families to come prepared for the heat! 🥵💧

Please pack PLENTY of extra water for your players, along with sunscreen, hats, cooling towels, or anything else they may need to stay as cool and comfortable as possible.

⚾️ Coaches: Please be mindful of your players throughout the game. Take additional water breaks—even between batters if needed—and keep an eye out for anyone who may need extra time to cool down.

❤️ Parents & families: Help us by making sure your players arrive hydrated and have enough water to last throughout their game.

The health and safety of our players comes first. Baseball is supposed to be fun, so please look out for one another, stay hydrated, and take those extra breaks when needed!

💧 HYDRATE • TAKE BREAKS • STAY COOL • HAVE FUN

Now let’s stay safe and PLAY BALL! ⚾️❤️💙

🚗⚾️ CHLL PARKING INFO — PLEASE PLAN AHEAD! ⚾️🚗

CHLL families, with soccer games ending around the same time our baseball games are beginning, we are expecting heavier traffic and limited parking at Chino Hills Community Park.

⏰ Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early to allow enough time to find parking and get your player to their coach.

🅿️ If the main lot is full, please utilize the backup parking lot.

🚶 Most importantly, please drive carefully! Be mindful of players, families, and pedestrians walking through the parking areas. Drive slowly, stay calm and patient, and help us make sure everyone gets to their destination safely. ❤️

A little extra planning and patience from all of us can make game day run much more smoothly!
