We would like to thank everyone for coming out tonight and supporting the Tigers! The game didn’t go the way we would have liked. We got to find a way to get better each week. Still very proud of our kids. Hats off to Rutherford. We wish those guys the best the rest of the way.
We would like to thank Tiger 100 for their support of the Football team and all CHS Athletics. Players added helmet decal honoring the late Mike Suggs to their helmets. Many thanks to the CHS band led by our fearless leader Mr Shad Steptoe. Many thanks as well to our Varsity Cheer Squad led by Coaches Amanda Gray & Carissa Hangar. ROTC kept it first class in pre game and we appreciate Col Moore & Sgt Finn. We appreciate Band, Band Boosters & Ag keeping the concessions rolling.

Special night here in Chipley getting to recognize Mr Curtis Carter on the field in pre game. Mr Carter has been the voice of the Tigers for over 20 years now.
Mr Carter was born November 6, 1959.
As a career he managed Capital City Bank in Chipley for over 40 years and retired in 2020. Since retirement he has worked as a substitute teacher for WCSD. He is married to Sharon and has 3 children and spouses(Danielle & Nick Gay, Jesse and Jessica Carter, Chelsea and Nich Dietrich), 6 grandchildren(Easton, Emma, Bowden, Brooks, Banks, and Turner) Mr Carter
Coached little league ball at Pals Park for over twenty years and recently came out of retirement to help coach his grandchildren
Has been the Voice of the Tigers for over twenty years, and during his tenure he has served as the PA for Roulhac Middle School and Chipley High School football programs and in various years the Chipley High Baseball and Softball programs.
The JV is open next week.
The Varsity travels to Maclay next Friday night. Kickoff 6 pm CST.
