The Metal Detective

Found a couple of days ago at this house again.

After this beautiful historic home in Eau Claire, WI caught fire, the owner was kind enough to let me detect there. So far a 1899 Barber dime. If that dime could talk!

After seven years of metal detecting, I found my first marble.

Tootsie cars are really cool. To know that I am the first person to touch these since some child in the early 1900’s, is so cool.

I was finally able to get out for the first time this year. A great day and great people allowed me to detect their yards. A huge shout out to some wonderful people. Krisy(husband too), Katie, and Warren. Best finds? A printing press, cast iron, die asking for more money for war bonds in 1943-‘44 and a Minneapolis souvenir medallion from 1911.
