Chula Vista Water Sports

When completed the expansion of Harbor Park (Formerly Bayside Park) will include a 25,000 sq ft, nautical-themed playground with a “climbable crow’s nest,” an 1,100 sq ft splash pad, landscaped areas, and improved walking/biking paths. The playground is expected to open in late 2026, with the splash pad slated for early 2027.

We couldn’t be more happy and grateful to know that the will remain in Chula Vista We recently had some strong winds during on one our days of Spring Break Camp. So we reached out to Captain Johnson and they accommodated us with welcomed arms thank you again for everything we’re looking forward to start incorporating this field into all of our week long camps.

Originally Built in 1997 under the name White Water Canyon, This Water Park in Chula Vista Ca is very nostalgic to our community. It then changed to Knotts Soak City, Then to Aquatica and now Sesame Place. What are some of your favorite memories from these water parks and Who’s first job was here? Let us know

After going back to a seasonal schedule in September of 2025, Sesame Place in Chula Vista Ca will reopen Friday March 27t 2026.

The Inaugural Navy 10 Miler took place this past Sunday Feb 22nd on the Chula Vista Bayfront at Bayside Park. It was one for the books with nearly 1000 competitors participating. We were so grateful to be right in the center of the action & and for being able to get this Drone footage of the Start of the Race. We Can’t wait for next year’s race!
