Due to the continued heat, we’re expanding our Cool Zone hours tomorrow, Sunday, October 4, from 10 AM–6 PM.

Stay cool and comfortable at one of these community centers:

Temperatures are heating up, and we’re here to help you beat the heat!

🏊‍♀️ Loma Verde Aquatic Center will be open for Open Swim!
📅 Sunday, October 4
⏰ 12:00–3:00 PM

Our City of Chula Vista parks will also remain open during the heat wave. If you’re spending time outdoors, remember to drink plenty of water, take breaks, and find some shade! 🌳

For every hour you’re outside, we recommend taking at least 15 minutes in the shade to help stay cool.
