They played tough and with lots of heart winning 7-3 vs GBG.

Advance Baseball 18U is 1 and 1 after today's start to USABF Invitational. Dropped the 1st game to the Athletics and then rebounded in the 2nd game to run-rule Game Time 10-2. Nick Lautz pitched 6 solid inning with both runs being unearned.
On to tomorrow and see what that brings the boys.

Over all great showing, solid play all around.

Another great outing in the NCS 18U Gold division. Came up short in the semi finals. Bases loaded two outs and the game ends on a line drive to shallow right, which the right fielder makes a running catch for the 3rd and final out 4-2 vs #1 seed BPA Fury

ABs David Silva, goes 3 for 3 with a double and 3 RBIs to lead the way to victory vs Trotsky Redbirds and advance AB into the semi finals.

ABs Damian Pasillas pitches a complete game vs Trotsky Redbird, 11Ks 2runs to help the team win 5-2.

Ali Camarillo goes 2-3 with a solo HR and flawless defense as AB beats the Bears Red 4-2

Player of the game Brodie Romero pitched a complete game 7-0 with 13 Ks vs Capistrano Baseball and advance AB into the championship game.

Player of the Game Aaron Garcia who hit game winning grandslam to advance AB into the semi-finals.

AB at the first game of the PBR Tournament showcase. Pitching was solid, our youngest player Tovi Mendivil pitched 3 solid innings allowing no run keeping them off balance. Then Nick Lautz came in and dealt 2 innings allowed 1 run and all capped off with Nathan Delosantos who allowed 1 run but was absolutely solid in his performance. Player of the game would be Derek Silva who played solid defense at shortstop an had 4 RBIs. Today a doubleheader.

AB 16s are 7-1 going into the World Series Championship tomorrow. These boys have played their butts off every day starting last Saturday.
Today Xavier Martinez took perfection into the 5th inning before giving up a hit but winning 9-0 with a one hitter, no walks. In that game 3rd baseman Austin hits 334 bomb to help in the win and was helped by the hottest hitter Santi Garcia.
Game two saw Steven Arciniega come in and take control in the 2nd inning to absolutely buckle the top seeded team with a masterful performance. The team came from behind 3-0 to put together 6 runs in two innings and seal the win.
Their not done yet and are preparing for tomorrow's championship game.

Proud to see AB alumni Donavin Buck, hook up with the MLB Kansas City Royals after finishing his collegiate career at Arkansas Little Rock.

AB in full swing. 18s advance as the #3 seed as they win 7-2 and finish 3-1 in pool play. The 16s started well hot but dropped two games on early and let todays game get away from them.
You win or you learn, only two options in my book!

Merry Christmas to al the players, students and parents and coaches that help make Advance Baseball the program that it is. I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for letting me be part of your son or daughter's development throughout the years. We take great pride in watching them move on and play at the next level regardless of their age.

AB 14s go 2-0 playing both games fundamentally good. Pitching by Anthony Lovato in the first game vs the Bears was near perfection as he threw 80 pitches in a complete game giving up one run.
The second game saw Jake C pitch 5 strong innings vs the Green Sox and allow Julian Padilla to finish the game. All around the boys hit very well and played stellar defense.
