Big congratulations to Vada Mccubbin on taking 3rd in her weight division and 3rd in the absolute division at the ADCC Youth World Championships this weekend!

Her dedication to BJJ and the time she continues to put into her craft showed on a huge stage.

šŸ¤˜ BACK-TO-BACK ALL-AMERICAN šŸ¤˜

New state, same result. Cibolo Steele's Cameron Hodge placed sixth in the 16U freestyle 105-pound bracket at the U.S. Marine Corps Junior Nationals in Fargo, her second straight Fargo All-American honor after finishing seventh last year while wrestling for Colorado.

Hodge opened the tournament with THREE straight 10-0 tech falls, none of them lasting longer than 43 seconds.

"It was a very busy summer. I traveled a lot for different camps and I got different looks in Colorado and different places around Texas. I felt really good going into Fargo this year." Cameron Hodge

Her coach, Zachary Madrid, says the impact goes beyond the podium: "The expectations of being able to compete at a national level become real for the other athletes in the room."

Up next: Super 32 or the Brian Keck Memorial in October, then a run at a UIL state title.

Cameron wrestled some of the best wrestlers in the nation.Through her never ending grit and determination to excel at what she loves, Cameron Placed 6th in the biggest high school tournament in the world! EARNING THE TITLE OF ALL AMERICAN.
Cameron is now a 2X-Fargo All American!
