“Dancing at CMC since I was five, and being on the competition team for the past eight years, has been an incredible journey! I am excited to be attending to Le Moyne College in the fall, where I’ll continue to pursue my passion for dance. A huge thank you to all my amazing dance teachers at CMC Dance Company – you’ve not only taught me how to dance, but you’ve also taught me about dedication, teamwork, and believing in myself. I’m going to miss CMC so much, but I’ll treasure these memories and lessons forever!”

Our next Senior Spotlight is Carleigh Colvin🩷🖤

“I have been dancing since I was 3 and joined the competition team when I was 7. After high school I will be attending SUNY Brockport, majoring in Childhood Inclusive Education and minoring in Coaching. I will be playing field hockey and hope to have a chance to continue dancing. CMC has become my second home. It has taught me so many lessons that I wouldn’t have learned. It has brought me friends that are now my sisters. I have gained so many memories that I will never forget. I want to thank every teacher for helping me become who I am today as a dancer and as a person. Even though my time at CMC has come to an end, CMC will always be apart of who I am. I love and will miss everyone.”

Our next Senior Spotlight is Josie Cappelletti🩷🖤

“I have been dancing since I was 4 years old, and although my time at CMC has only been 3 years, it has impacted me in so many ways. Dance has always been my safe space, and CMC has become my second home.

Thank you to all of the teachers for always encouraging and believing in me, and to all of the girls for the friendships and memories I will cherish forever. A special thank you to Mrs. Marj for creating such a positive and supportive environment that has helped me grow in so many ways. To my mom and my sisters, thank you for being my biggest supporters through every high and low. I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without you all.

In the fall, I will be attending High Point University in North Carolina, majoring in Social Media & Digital Communications. I also plan to continue my dance journey on their dance company! I will forever be grateful for everything this studio has given me and for the memories I’ll carry with me💝”

Hi! My name is Lola Stewart. I have been dancing at CMC for 7 years now. I’ve been dancing for 15 years. dancing at CMC has given me any great opportunities and amazing friendships! i’m going to college at Alfred State to get my bachelor’s in radiology. I plan to become an ultrasound technician.

Our First Senior Spotlight is Lexi Lupia🩷🖤

Hi! My name is Lexi, and I’ve been dancing since I was 3 years old. I specifically started dancing at CMC Dance Company when I was 7 years old. I have danced here as a non-competition recital dancer but from 8th-12th grade were still some of my most memorable times. I truly loved every moment and all of the memories and friends I made. Dance has been the best 15 years of my life. I’m happy to say I will be attending SUNY Oswego for Childhood Education, and I would like to thank my family for all of their support and love, as well as the teachers I’ve had at CMC who sparked my love for dance and encouraged me more and more every day.
