Holy busy week - never doing 2 sports for one kid at the same time again (not including our own sports on top of that) 😅
We’ve been quiet but we’ve been getting our workouts in 🙌🏻
Wednesday we did our lifting program, yesterday I did the sample workout from the new Fire and Flow program (see the pic of my face during it to see how I felt about it 🤣), then we did a HOT 3.2 miles today in the 82* sun 😍🥵
Off to Tar-jay tonight for some storage stuff and then Home Depot for supplies for our raised garden beds.
Armoire was supposed to be here today but it’s coming Monday now so we’re setting up the gardens this weekend and doing the armoire next weekend. 🙌🏻🎉
Trying to do a flow workout with doggos constantly BLOCKING the flow like… 😅

If you’re looking for a sign to REST, this is it. ⬇️
So many people think that once they start going after something they have to keep at it - every day - for the rest of forever.
While it’s true that if you stop working out and eating right your body will eventually reflect that, taking a short week or two break is sometimes EXACTLY what your body and mind need. 💯
We took the last 2 weeks off work for our wedding and honeymoon and ended up taking 2 weeks off of everything.
We brought workout clothes with us on the honeymoon and we had our food trackers with us. But we didn’t use any of those things. Not. Even. Once.❌
AND WE’RE SO HAPPY WE DIDN’T! ☺️
Life is always busy and sometimes we all get so caught up in working towards the next goal and trying to cross off all of our to dos that we forget the biggest to do of all - enjoying LIFE!
We spent the last 2 weeks doing everything we wanted to and nothing we didn’t. We just LIVED and enjoyed every last second of it. 🙌🏻
We ate what we want, drank whatever sounded good, walked and played on the beach and at different parks, and also rested a ton when we needed or wanted to. No alarms, no bed times, no workouts or tracking nutrition, just waking up with the sunrise and getting the most out of every day.
And we feel SO refreshed and had the time of our lives. ☺️
That break was just what we needed to get re-energized and to refuel us before we start on our new projects (more details to come).
Feeling burnt out? Take a few vacation or personal days and GO. Do something that inspires and fulfills and recharges you. Eat. Drink. Be merry. LIVE. 🎉
Everything else will still be there when you get back. ✌🏻
