Real talk from the car after a HARD run. 😤
Started too fast.
Paid for it by mile 2.
Was I walking? Yes. 😂
Was I out of breath? Absolutely.
Did I finish? YOU ALREADY KNOW.💪🏾
Here’s what I want you to take from this

Every single workout will not be your best.

Every single run will not feel amazing. And that is completely normal.

The magic isn’t in the perfect sessions. The magic is in finishing the hard ones. 🔥

Slow down if you need to. Walk if you have to.
Talk to the camera when you’re struggling 😂
But finish. Always finish.
Because the version of you that finishes even on the hard days? That’s the version that gets stronger. 👊🏾🔥

You don’t need to run miles and miles to get a great run in. 🎯
Out and back. Same route. Almost 2 minutes faster than last time. 💨
And yes — I was TIRED at the end. That’s not a bad sign. That’s the whole point. 🔥
Here’s what most people get wrong about running 👇
❌ Thinking distance is the only measure of progress
❌ Feeling tired means something went wrong
❌ You have to run long to run well

✅ Tired means you pushed. Pushed means you grew
✅ A short hard effort is STILL a workout worth celebrating
Progress isn’t always more miles.

Sometimes it’s the same miles — done better. 💡

Nobody wakes up early feeling like a superhero. 😩
Could as well put some lipgloss on because if I’m suffering I’m doing it cute. 💄
But here I am — 3.5 miles done when outside is cold before 8am
This is what it actually looks like to be a busy professional who also prioritizes her health. It’s not aesthetic. It’s not perfect. It’s a runny nose and tired legs and showing up anyway.

Mile 1 is always a hard start.
Mile 2 is where you ask why.
Mile 3 is proof you can do hard things. 🏃‍♀️

If you’ve been waiting for a sign to get up and move your body — this is it. Your future self will thank you. I promise.

I get it!!!!! As a parent trying to find time can be challenging but while they are practicing try to get a work out in as well.

Sat at my desk all day. So I needed to walk. Sometimes you have to make time and find these little moments. It doesn’t bees to be much; 10 mins, maybe 20 mins.

I know it is not a gym but it is something.

Maybe next time I will run the stairs and tag my old teammates.

How do people run and film themselves? 🤳Trying to hold a phone, run and talk!!! Shoot and I thought I was good at multi-tasking. 😬

Now you see what it is like to run 3 miles with me. Nothing fancy, don’t care about pace just out here running. If I can do it, so can you.
