Kids from Newport Independent School District's elementary school had a fun afternoon and took over the Newport mini pitch.

We were there to celebrate our new partnership with FC Cincinnati Foundation, which has opened 15 mini pitches across the region so far. We’re proud to be the team behind these systems, and glad to help more communities get a place like this to play! Play on! ⚽

Pine tree towers, tunnels to disappear into, stumps to hop across, and a hopscotch path set right into the surface. It's ready for whatever story the first kid up the steps decides to tell.

Thanks to The City of Fort Wright, KY for bringing us along on this one. It's time to play!

Every project requires teamwork. And some projects need more than others to get it perfect.

This wheelchair basketball court is coming together through a partnership between MotzScapes, The Motz Group, The Bridge Adaptive Sports & Rec, and MAPEI USA, each one bringing exactly what this build needed. Adaptive sports expertise. Surfacing precision. Construction know-how. A shared belief that access shouldn't be an afterthought.

The result is a court built specifically for the way it'll be used and designed with the athletes in mind. Proud to be included in this extra special place.

Springdale has a new pitch, and it didn't take long for kids to find it. That's the part that never gets old. A patch of underused space turns into somewhere a kid wants to be, and it happens because FC Cincinnati Foundation and the City of Springdale, Ohio decided this community deserved it too. We are grateful to get to build it.

Fall is here, and so is the best weather of the year to be outside! No more asking if the slide is too hot to touch. No more chasing shade across the whole playground. Just crisp air, a light jacket, and every space for play we build finally getting the weather it deserves.

We highly encourage you to go find whatever outdoor space is closest to you and enjoy it while the weather's this good.

Happy first day of fall from MotzScapes!

Our MotzScapes crew is going to be out at the 2026 OPRA Foundation Golf Outing on September 18th!

We're sponsoring the Front 9 beverage station at Blacklick Woods Golf Course. Make sure you catch Adam out there, grab a cold one, and say hi while you make the turn!

A new surface and a lot more room to play! We just wrapped up a pour-in-place installation in Upper Arlington, and it's the kind of project that speaks for itself. One continuous surface under every slide, spring rider, and climbing wall on this playground, smooth, safe, and built to hold up through every season this park sees.

A steadier surface with less upkeep for a community that leans on this space constantly- a playground that's ready the moment kids show up. Proud to add this one to the list!

Pour-in-place doesn't move.

It's a surface that stays consistent under little feet running full speed, stays level for wheelchairs and walkers, and stays exactly where it's installed no matter how many seasons of play it takes on. That's not just a comfort thing. That's an every-kid-gets-to-play thing.

We build pour-in-place surfacing because access shouldn't depend on the weather or the maintenance schedule. It should just be there. Ready to play.

Is there someone who teaches a kid they can climb higher than they thought...? Or is that what a playground does...

Every "I dare to try the tall slide!", the "Watch this!" shout before a jump, it's all confidence being built in real time. Not the kind you tell a kid they have, the kind they find out for themselves.

That's the part of our job we take most seriously. Build the space right, safely, and accessibly, and kids figure out what they're capable of without anyone having to say a word.

We know shade. Literally and otherwise. Courtyards. Fields. Plazas. Common spaces where people actually gather. Shade isn't an afterthought in any of it; it's what makes a space usable in the midst of summer instead of empty.

We also believe in: straight answers, honest timelines, no surprises buried in the fine print. One team, one point of contact, from first sketch to last shovel. We know shade. We don't throw it.
