The only leadoff man ever to lead his league in both batting average and walks was Richie Ashburn in 1958. Ashburn hit .350 with 97 walks. Several power hitters also led the league in batting average and walks, but no other leadoff men.

And look who won the AL-D1 division. The Chicago White Sox beat out the NYY - BOS - CLE - BAL

The White Sox have been the surprise team. I moved them over to AL-D1 to see if they could compete with the top AL teams and they won the division.

The Minnesota Twins came back from last place to win AL-D2 division. Pittsburgh wins the NL-D1 and the LA Dodgers win the NL-D2 division.

Current Season Simulation after 77 games. Baltimore needs some help in AL-D1 but Cincinnati won the NL-D4 division last replay. So, I switched Cincinnati and LA and now LA is winning NL-D4. My next post will be the final standings for this season's franchise simulation game.
