Congratulations to Anderson Karate youth who earned new belts and stripes! Tyler Combs and Penny Johns (green belts!), Jack Goebel (orange belt!), Ira Chatterjee, Greyson Sanner and Depree Gillyen II (yellow belts!) and Ezra Lughinbuhl (white w/ black stripe). Thanks also to the examiners and sempai (Margaret Williams, Bev Pugh, Adam Piccirillo, and Dick Williams).

More than 20 karate-ka participated in Anderson Karate's annual Youth Shiai in Cincinnati! Congratulations to all who competed, and special thanks to all the volunteers who made it possible.

It’s 2026, y’all! What are your karate goals for the year? Today (Saturday, Jan. 3, 2026), Bev Pugh, Caleb Horner and I launched our 2026 training by doing the “core 15 kata,” along with Chinte and Kanku-sho. How will YOU train for 2026?
