Posting this because im proud of myself. Haven't done this damn thing months. Normally 5 minutes is enough to make me want to jump off. And I often do. I absolutely had zero plan on doing it today, but I've been going through some things lately and I thought it would be great for my mind. To accomplish something challenging with all the doubt and negativity swirling in my head. So I put my headphones on, closed my eyes, and knocked out 20 minutes. Your body can honestly achieve what your mind can conceive.
No matter what you're going through you have two choices. You can be upset. Angry. Bitter. It doesn't matter the adversity. Or you can choose resilience.
As long as you're alive. You always have an opportunity to achieve.
We are all going through something. At some point in time, you have to get tired of the person who you are. Something has to snap. You've been insecure long enough. You've been unfit long enough. You've been unqualified long enough. Overlooked long enough. Undervalued long enough. Been in this deep dark cave of doubt and fear and insecurity. You can either give up or get up. And after you get out of that place, whether you want to lose weight, make more money, learn a new skill..... you must invest in yourself.
You have to get over that doubt. That fear. That insecurity. I know you feel stuck. I've been there. Often. But listen, you have to get up. You just have to do it. You can have all the excuses or reasons in the world but at the end of the day it's up to you to make it happen. There's nobody going to come to save you.
If you're looking for a little Monday motivation, look no further than my 83 and 84-year-old clients Tom and Jan. These two have been coming into the gym for about 8 years now. Twice a week without fail. With the issues they've experienced in their lives, they have every reason not to go to the gym, but they make no excuses and they show up and work out as hard as they can. If they can do it, you can do it.
Tom is a colon cancer survivor. He's has had multiple surgeries on his back. Hip replacement surgery. Knee replacement and just recently fell and is working thru a shoulder surgery.
Jan.... let me tell you about her. She was in an accident about 30 years ago where a tree fell on her back and nearly severed her spine. She has undergone many surgeries over the years and has very little feeling from the waist down. It's very difficult for her to walk but she shows up to every workout, drives herself there and never complains and does whatever I ask of her. That right there is a strong-willed woman.
Both of them should be an inspiration to everyone. The setbacks they've had over the years but they still show up and get it done. What's your excuse?
Weight loss hack. Find a picture of yourself when you looked and felt the best. Make it your screensaver. Put it on the refrigerator. Anywhere that it stays in your vision. A glimpse is a reminder to stay on track.
Watching TV it seems like just about every other commercial is either a fast food commercial or some sort of prescription drug. The food industry and pharmaceutical industry are definitely in cahoots. Poison the food and then fix the symptoms with a prescription. That way everybody gets paid. It's so dishonest and disingenuous. You don't see commercials addressing the root causes of these issues. It simply "here take a pill to fix the symptoms that are causes by eating poisoned foods.

Im telling you!!!!!! Make an effort to listen to all if this even if in pieces. Such an amazing piece loaded with nutrition and corruption with big Pharm and the food industry. Illnesses etc.... has nothing to do with Tucker Carlson. He's just the host.

The truth in this is so real. During occasional bouts of anxiety over the years the best remedy I found was working out and the way you feel afterwards. Put some motivation music on or motivational podcast and just space out and lift some weights. t

It's so unfortunate that most of our information is set up to promote the ideas of the ones who are funding it. So many of these documentaries are disingenuous cherry picking the stats that fit their agenda.
