Cincinnati's newest volleyball club. Cincinnati Thunder is a new volleyball club based in Western Cincinnati.
Our goal as a club is to teach and advance the game while putting competetive teams on the court. We want to pass on our passion for the sport and play a role in the development of volleyball talent in the Cincinnati area. We measure success by our players' improvement, not by win/loss records. Congratulations to 18s player and 13s coach Sophie Freihofer on her signing to play at Salem International University!!
Sophie has been with the Thunder since our beginning in 2011 and we could not be prouder that she will be continuing her career in college!

Congratulations to our 16-1s and 17s who finished 2nd and 5th overall at the Asics Junior National Volleyball Championships this weekend in Chicago!!

16-1 player Stefanie Autenrieb gets a kill this morning.
The 16-1s are currently 6-0 heading into the Gold Bracket tomorrow morning!!
Congratulations to both of our girls 15s teams, who went a combined 9-2 yesterday on their ways to winning their divisions at the OVR Championships!!
