Hello all,
Please help Mission 5 Fitness support Matthew 25: Ministries Hunger 5K distribution by donating the following items during the weeks of 11/14 - 11/25:
• Pull top canned vegetables, canned soup, canned fruits etc.; canned meats like chicken or tuna;
• Ready to eat dry goods such as nuts, peanut butter, dried fruits, granola and trail mixes, jerkies, ready to eat snacks or meals;
• Boxed sides like mashed potatoes, dried goods such as pasta and rice;
• Boxed or bagged bulk goods;
• Packets, pouches and envelopes of mixes;
• Pouched oatmeal, grits etc.
• Ready- to-eat boxed or bagged meals and side dishes
• Individually packaged ready-to-eat items
• Baby food/powder; bottled water (12- and 24-cases);
• MREs
Please DO NOT donate soft packaged or crushable bagged foods, no glass.
The Hunger 5K distribution provides non-perishable food to approximately 40 local pantries and shelters each year and benefits Matthew 25: Ministries’ work with the poorest of the poor and disaster victims.

Mission 5 Fitness is celebrating 10 years! Thanks to all past and present patrons. We couldn’t have done it without you and we look forward to serving you for another 10 years!
When we are allowed to reopen we hope that all our clients come back. Same gym with a fresh paint job.
The only way to move better & experience less pain everyday is to actually practice movements on a daily basis.
All you need is 5-10 minutes per day to prepare your body to perform the way you want it to.

Hating Quarantine? Here’s 10 Things You Can Control Right Now To Decrease Anxiety & Transform Yourself:
1️⃣ Mindset: Read, Journal, Learn. You build a resilient mind by training it.
2️⃣ Training: Move your body every single day. Even if it’s only 10-20 minutes day.
3️⃣ Nutrition: Just because you’re stuck inside doesn’t mean there’s “No Rules.” Make smart choices & use this time to get really good at it.
4️⃣ Sleep: Rest, rest, rest. Listen to your body if it’s worn out.
5️⃣ 10k Steps Per Day.
6️⃣ Communication & Appreciation: Reach our to your loved ones, connect, and let them know you appreciate them.
7️⃣ Time: Where are you spending your time? Make sure you’re spending it wisely and not just aimlessly scrolling on your phone.
8️⃣ Gratitude: What are 3 things you’re grateful for? Write this out every morning to start your day feeling grateful rather than anxious.
9️⃣ Watch What You Consume: Social media & TV can increase your anxiety without you even noticing it. Get off of it. Surround yourself with things that are good for you.
🔟 Develop Skills: Remember that one thing you’ve always wanted to get better at? Use this time as an opportunity to improve on the things you’ve pushed off for so long.
It’s easy to fall back into bad habits when you find yourself sitting around at home. Instead, look at this as an opportunity to focus on the things you lack. Continuously improve yourself so that when all this is over, you’re coming back even better.
