Just wrapped up a long, hard-fought 2025–26 season the right way — with our annual bowling outing! 🎳

Nothing but laughs, competition, and great team bonding after months of grinding on the mat. Proud of this group and everything we accomplished together — now it’s time to relax and enjoy the moment.

The Shroder Jaguar Wrestling Team battled hard at the Division II Sectional Tournament this past Saturday, turning in strong performances from Ruben Irons, Bentley Carter, Jyamin Johnson-Thompson, and Matt Morris. While they came up just short of advancing to districts, their effort, toughness, and growth throughout the postseason did not go unnoticed.

Timi Oydele placed 5th and will serve as a District alternate — a huge accomplishment and testament to his growth this year.

Jaden Allen finished as the 157-pound Sectional Runner-Up, earning his second trip to the District Tournament at Wilmington High School!

Congratulations to the entire team on a great season. Let’s continue to rally behind Timi and Jaden as they chase their goal of reaching the State Tournament!

The Shroder Jaguars Boys Wrestling Team delivered an outstanding performance at the CMAC Championships, with all nine boys earning podium finishes. Javontae Lewis and Jade Allen captured championship titles. Ruben Irons, Jyamin Johnson-Thompson, Timi Oyedele, Day'veion Goode, & Matthew Morris finished as runner-ups. Finally, Bentley Carter & Dennis Wilson placed third. The team secured an impressive third-place overall finish, just 17.5 points shy of first. Next up: Sectionals at Western Brown on February 28.

Mirroring the boys, the Lady Jags also showed up and competed very well in an all-girls pilot CMAC championship placing second was Kiara Johnson, Bra'Aisha Mathews and Lanee Morris. Also, a special shout out to Bra’Shier Smith who did not get an opportunity to compete.

Great scrimmage at Princeton yesterday and another strong showing today at Wyoming. Let’s keep the momentum going as we head into Wednesday’s exhibition at Walnut!
