I’ve been racing CX for a number of years. What I love about the sport is the camaraderie and family atmosphere. These days, I’m volunteering and supporting Kings CX more than racing and love how this venue has flourished over the years.

It’s been a privilege to help assist with Kings CX as a medical provider over the years. One of the perks of volunteering has been mingling with the local as well as the international racing community. This was last year and Caroline Mani was super fun to meet and talk to.

While I can’t be there this year, I’m super excited for the CX season and look forward to seeing everyone mingling and racing!

I got into bikes in 2016. Charles Barilleaux convinced me to try CX - 2016-12-31, the last race at kingswood. Starting from the back row, I somehow won by mistake. If memory serves, I think the pie I won was made by Julie Hermann? Been racing CX ever since, even though I’m pretty mediocre at it (something something sprinting and bike handling). This is a way for me to make sure there is racing for the next generation, just like Scot&Julie, Jerry, Matt, Corey, made sure it was there for me.
